Catherine “Kay” R. Pecha, 91, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at Atrium Post-Acute Care in Bloomer.

Catherine was born on December 15, 1926, to George and Catherine (Ryan) True in St. Louis, Missouri.

She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, she also enjoyed having pot luck dinners and going out for breakfast. Most of all she enjoyed being a homemaker, mother, grandma and great grandma.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Barb) Pecha of New Auburn, WI, Steven Pecha of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Christie and Michelle; great grandchildren, Amber, Lauren, Liam, Alyssa and Mackenzie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Pecha; son, William Pecha; parents, George and Catherine True; siblings, Annie, Margaret, Lucille, Estelle and Rosemary, George and John.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Schriver-Thompson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will also be held at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at McLaughlin Funeral Home in St. Louis, MO. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018, at McLaughlin Funeral Home in St. Louis, MO. Burial will be held following the service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.

The family would like to thank the staff at Atrium Post-Acute Care Center (formally Hetzel’s Care Center) in Bloomer and the staff of Heartland Hospice for their care and support.
