Doris M. Wojtowicz, 86, of New Auburn, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System – Chippewa Valley in Bloomer.

She was born on May 7, 1927, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Ann (Augustine) Motykowski.

Doris married Raymond Wojtowicz in Chicago on September 17, 1949. She worked as an administrative assistant for Science Digest and later in sales for the cosmetic and fashion industry She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer. Doris also was an active Red Hatter. She loved bowling, golfing, dancing, water recreation activities, and social events.

Doris is survived by her husband, Raymond; two sons, Gary (Anita) of Gilberts, IL, and Roger (Nancy) of Twin Lakes, WI; a daughter, Dorice Cichon; seven grandchildren, Shawn, Daniel, Thomas, Phillip, Matthew, Priscilla, and Joseph; three great-grandchildren, Angela, Victoria, and Zachery; and a brother, Edmund (Mary Ann) Monty of Oakbrook, IL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Todd Wojtowicz.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013, at St. Colette Catholic Church in Rolling Meadows, IL, with Fr. Brian Simpson celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at church. Entombment will be held at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines, IL, immediately following the mass. 

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Bloomer.  Father John Potaczek will officiate the Mass.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass at church and a memorial luncheon will follow.
