Vernon "Vern" Siverling

Vernon Herbert Siverling, age 80, of Bloomer passed away peacefully in his home on July 25, 2018.
He was born in Bloomer, WI on December 10, 1937, the son of William and Esther (Peil) Siverling.
He married Yvonne “Snookie” A. Marquardt on June 14, 1958, in Bloomer, WI.
Vernon was a farmer all his life working hard growing crops and raising cattle on the family farm. He survived two tornados building everything back up. There was nothing he couldn’t fix or build. He loved many things in life including: fishing, snowmobiling, playing cards, watching sports, game shows, Polka Joe, and Mollie B. More than anything Vernon loved spending time with his family and friends.
Vernon is survived by his wife Yvonne Siverling; children, Dale (Cheri) Siverling, Becky (Dave) Erickson, and Robin Siverling; grandchildren, Chad Siverling, Amber Siverling, and Brittany (Michael) Tryon.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Michael Siverling; parents; and brother, Floyd (“Toots”) Siverling.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer, WI with Father Jesse Burish celebrating the mass. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Schriver-Thompson Funeral Home in Bloomer. A prayer service led by the family will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

4-8 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Schriver-Thompson Funeral Home. **Note there will be NO visitation on Monday prior to the funeral mass.**
