Lois M. Eastman, 93, of Bloomer, passed away at her residence on Saturday, November 2, 2019.
Lois was born November 12, 1925 in Bloomer to John and Ida (Franz) Lendl. She graduated from Bloomer High School. She married Jerry Eastman at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in July 31, 1950. Jerry preceded her in death April 7, 1993.
Lois is survived by her Children: Vicky (Dennis) Hagen of Elk River, MN, Patty (Tom) Reischel of Bloomer, Smokey (Jean) Eastman of Bloomer, Sue (Gary) Lueck of Bloomer, Debbie Eastman of Eau Claire, 12 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren,Sister in Law Dorothy, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is further preceded in death by her Parents, Son Tommy, Great Granddaughter Shelby Reischel, Brother’s Vern and Ray, Sisters Jeanie and Gloria.
Lois was a proud military wife and followed Jerry throughout the US and Europe through his different station assignments. She was a homemaker and spent her life dedicated to her family by raising her children and supporting Jerry in his military career. Following Jerry’s retirement from the Army in 1971, they returned to Bloomer where she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her coffee and card playing clutch in Bloomer. She enjoyed taking bus trips, traveling and visiting with retired friends from the military.
She enjoyed watching Westerns, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and was an avid Packers and Badgers fan.
Lois was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic Minister and served communion to those at home and in nursing homes and was a member of the PCCW.
She also was a member of the Bloomer VFW Auxiliary where she served as Commander.
Lois will be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday November 8, 2019 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer. Father Victor Feltes will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery South. A Rosary Service will be held at 10:30 AM at Thompson Funeral Home in Bloomer, Visitation will follow from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Paul’s Catholic School.

A Rosary Service will be held at 10:30 AM at Thompson Funeral Home in Bloomer, Visitation will follow from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM.
