Larry W. Berg, 72, of Bloomer, passed away Sunday November 3, 2019 at Atrium Acute Care in Bloomer.

Larry was born September 10, 1947 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Orvin and Eleanor (Bartlett) Berg. He is a 1965 graduate of Bloomer High School. He married Sue Schlender on July 19, 1969 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Sue survives.

He is further survived by Children: Kris (Bill) Wisniewski of Chetek, Jason (Rose Boggs) of Bloomer, Jeremy (Melissa) of Bloomer, Kelli (Chad) Pritchett of Somerset and Sara (Tyler Girard) of Bloomer, Grandchildren: Jamie, Nathan, Lexis, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Hagen, Marcus, Gentry, Kendra, Maddy, Gabe, Lydia, Oakley, Great Granddaughter Penryn, Brothers: Norman (Deb) on MN, Robert (Lorna) of Chippewa Falls, John of Bloomer, Harold (Shelly) of Bloomer, Sisters: Jean Streets of Chippewa Falls, Karen (Charlie) Barney of Clear Lake, and several nieces and nephews.

Larry is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Parents, and Son Scott Berg.

 Larry and Sue owned two farms in the Bloomer area, and also worked as a heavy equipment operator mainly for road construction and gravel pit work. In his retirement, he enjoyed restoring tractors, collecting toy tractors and going to auctions.  He cherished his time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on December 1, 2019 from 2:00-6:00 at the Loyal Order of the Moose Hall, 1890 9th Avenue, Bloomer.
